Tunnel fan

Tunnel fans and mine fans are both crucial ventilation equipment that ensures safe production and maintains air circulation in special scenarios. Due to the complexity and particularity of their application environments, they have different focuses in design and function, yet they are equally indispensable.

 

- Tunnel fans: According to different tunnel types and ventilation requirements, they are mainly divided into jet fans and axial fans. Jet fans have a compact structure, small size, and are easy to install. They are usually suspended on the top or side walls of the tunnel. When in operation, it is like a powerful air jet device. By ejecting high-speed airflows, it induces the surrounding air to flow, forming a relay-type ventilation, effectively solving the ventilation problems of long tunnels, reducing the accumulation of harmful gases and dust, providing fresh and safe air for vehicles and pedestrians, and ensuring the visibility and air quality inside the tunnel. Axial tunnel fans, on the other hand, have the characteristics of large flow rate and high pressure. Their impellers have a relatively large diameter, and the number and angle of the blades are carefully designed to adapt to complex tunnel working conditions. In extra-long tunnels or large transportation hub tunnels, axial tunnel fans can be used as the main ventilation equipment to achieve efficient air supply and exhaust, maintaining the continuous circulation of air inside the tunnel and ensuring the safety of tunnel operation.

 

- Mine fans: According to their functions, they are divided into main ventilation fans and local ventilation fans. The main ventilation fan is the core of the mine ventilation system, undertaking the important task of providing fresh air for the entire mine and exhausting dirty air. It has a powerful power, and its air volume and air pressure can meet the ventilation needs of large-area and deep-mining mines. It is usually installed near the ground shaft mouth, and through a complex ventilation pipeline network, it transports air to various working areas underground, effectively diluting and discharging harmful gases such as gas, dust, and other substances in the mine, preventing explosion and poisoning accidents and ensuring the safety of miners' lives. Local ventilation fans are more flexible and are mainly used in local working areas of the mine, such as heading faces, single-heading roadways, and other places with poor ventilation conditions. They are small in size, easy to move and install, and can be adjusted according to the change of the working location at any time, providing targeted ventilation for specific areas, ensuring the air quality of the local working environment, and enabling miners to work in a safe and healthy environment.
