High-temperature firing equipment

High-temperature kiln equipment is a key device used for high-temperature heating, roasting, smelting and other processes in many industrial fields. According to different structures, heating methods and application scenarios, it is mainly divided into the following categories:

1. Tunnel Kiln: It has a long tunnel-shaped furnace structure, usually consisting of a preheating zone, a firing zone and a cooling zone. Materials are continuously moved through the tunnel for the heating process by means of transportation tools such as kiln cars and conveyor belts. This kind of kiln is characterized by high production efficiency and is suitable for large-scale continuous production. It is widely used in industries such as ceramics, refractories, and bricks and tiles. For example, in ceramic production, the tunnel kiln can make the ceramic green bodies be evenly heated under a stable temperature gradient, ensuring the consistency of product quality. At the same time, it can realize automated operation and reduce manual intervention.

2. Shuttle Kiln: It is shaped like a shuttle, and the kiln car can move in and out of the kiln body. When loading and unloading materials, the kiln car is pulled out of the kiln for convenient operation; when heating, the kiln car is pushed into the kiln. The shuttle kiln is highly flexible and can adjust the production batches and product types at any time according to production needs. It is suitable for small-batch and multi-variety production and is often used for the firing of special ceramics, artistic ceramics and some materials with high requirements for the firing process.

3. Rotary Kiln: The main body is a rotatable inclined cylinder. Materials enter from the high end and gradually move to the low end as the cylinder rotates, and the high-temperature treatment is completed during this process. The advantage of the rotary kiln lies in its strong adaptability to materials, and it can handle various forms of materials such as powders and granules. It is widely used in industries such as cement, lime, and non-ferrous metal smelting. In cement production, the rotary kiln converts raw materials into cement clinkers through high-temperature calcination. Its unique rotating structure ensures that the materials react fully and improves production efficiency.

4. Resistance Furnace: It uses the heat generated when an electric current passes through the resistance heating element to heat the materials in the furnace. According to different heating elements, it can be divided into metal resistance wire furnaces, silicon carbide rod furnaces, silicon molybdenum rod furnaces, etc. The resistance furnace has precise temperature control and can reach a relatively high temperature. It is often used in scientific research experiments, precision casting, sintering of electronic components and other occasions with extremely high requirements for temperature accuracy. For example, in the electronics industry, the resistance furnace is used for high-temperature annealing treatment of semiconductor materials to ensure the stable performance of the materials.

5. Gas-fired Kiln: It uses combustible gases such as natural gas and coal gas as fuels. The fuel and air are mixed by the burner and burned in the kiln to generate high temperature. The gas-fired kiln has a fast heating-up speed, high thermal efficiency, and less pollution from combustion products, which meets environmental protection requirements. It is widely used in industries such as glass manufacturing and ceramic firing. For example, in glass production, the gas-fired kiln can quickly heat the glass raw materials to the melting state and can accurately control the atmosphere in the furnace to ensure the quality and transparency of the glass.

6. Induction Furnace: Based on the principle of electromagnetic induction, an alternating magnetic field generates an induced current in the metal materials, and the heat effect of the current makes the materials heat up rapidly. The induction furnace has a fast heating speed, uniform heating, and no open flame. It is suitable for fields such as metal smelting and forging heating. In the smelting of special metals, the induction furnace can quickly melt the metal raw materials and can precisely control the smelting temperature and time to ensure the quality and performance of the metal materials.
